Zia is an experienced HR leader with a strong people development focus. He believes talent management to be one of the primary drivers for organisation success.
Zia is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy at Arxxus, to support the overall business plan, and strategic direction of the organisation. At Arxxus, he has facilitated the application of V2MOM Methodology for creating alignment on goals and strategies, and has created Competency Development Framework for driving the development efforts. He has been actively involved in establishing a 70:20:10 Learning framework to ensure a sustainable learning culture. Being in a rapidly changing ecosystem, he has a strong focus on employee skill enablement to help continuously build capabilities for future business needs. He has also been extensively using MBTI Instrument to enable teams to appreciate differences, and leverage complementary strengths.
Zia brings with him 18 years of experience in Talent & Leadership Development, and other HR functions. He has worked with organisations like Infosys Technologies Ltd., Hutchison Essar Telecom, and led the Talent & Leadership development initiatives for strategic business units at these organisations. He has also been a strategic Management & Leadership development consultant to COE of Banks, Captive Units, IT/ITES majors, Consulting, Pharmaceutical, and Manufacturing companies.
Zia is an Economics graduate and has a Master’s in Business Administration with specialisation in Human Resources. He is a certified practitioner for Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Instrument and is also certified on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy - Level 1. He is a keen student of Human Psychology & Behaviour, and loves to write about ideas and thoughts that inspire him. He also likes to dabble in gardening and cooking in his leisure time.
